Prom is upcoming and there's still plenty of work still needed to make sure this event is even more enchanting than the Valentine's Day dance. Anyone who is interested or has already talked to me about prom planning committee, we're having a meeting in the science lab on Saturday at 1:00. Please show up on time. Successful organization requires responsibility and dedication. Let's do this right.
Seniors are welcome to submit song requests in the marked box outside Silas's office, but only residents or underclassmen should be coming to this meeting. The prom is for you, after all.

I don't care if it's summer vacation or if most of you are grown adults. Everyone who uses the kitchen space needs to do their own dishes, and actually put their bottles in the recycling. Residents should be using their private space to store food, not the public fridge, and you're not cleverly hiding your alcohol if it's just brownbagged. Take your DVDs out of the player when you're done with them, turn out lights when you leave a room that isn't being used, and don't toss your cigarette butts into the grass. I can't believe none of you think twice about these things. We live in a house shared by all of us, and it's no one's responsibility but ours to make sure the place stays clean. The cleaning staff are here to maintain the tasks that you aren't expected to do yourself, not to pick up your shit.
For the record? I don't read your question responses, but I also don't appreciate the attitude I've been hearing about. Have a little respect for your faculty.

Everyone is going to do something for Valentine's Day, even if I have to make you myself.
In fact? Every person who finds a way to show someone else that you love them (even in a platonic way!) and tells me about it on this entry is going to get a cupcake and a chocolate rose from me. Maybe even a hug if you do something extra special.
